My real name is Claes Löfqvist and I'm working at Volvo
in Gothenburg (Sweden). Have been programming and playing with computers
since -81 when I bought a VIC-20 with a tape recorder. The next one was
a C64 with a 1541 floppy drive. I made a BBS called 'Starbase' on this
C64 computer and in this BBS I called myself Captain Slartibartfast. This
was terribly long and now I call myself Slarti in computer environments
instead. If I call my self Claes then I always get problems like: name
already exist! That's the story behind the Slarti name.
Together with a friend, I have an Unreal
Tournament game server named Arthur Dent... Arthur Dent and Slartibartfast
both come from the jolly good book: The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy.
